You write "Resolution: 18-bits (65536 Counts)"; I expect that it should read "Resolution: 16-bits (65536 Counts)" IOW the "18" should be "16"
If you refer to the Electrical Characteristics section of the datasheet, you will find the specifications we listed. Unfortunately, the datasheet does appear to explain on how the bits are handled for those counts.
I can only surmise that 18-bits should be the maximum ADC resolution and the listed 65536 counts is marked as typical for a lower/average ADC resolution.
