So once I've built it, how do I teleport to the world in the book? It seems you left the most important part out of the tutorial XD
Really though, cool project! I would like one just so I can pretend to read at Starbucks while watching HD movies.
This brings back memories. I remember MYST being described as the most given, least played game ever written. Everybody's grannie would buy them a copy of MYST so they could play that instead of horrible violent games like Wolfenstein, Doom, etc. Then it would sit in a pile of unused stuff until it could be decently thrown away. We even had a guy at work who kept trying to get us to change our daily Doom tournaments over to MYST because he did not like the satanic references.
Does anyone remember the parody game, PYST?
Nice tutorial, BTW. I've wondered what ViSi was like as a development system.
