Hi, can I just power the Intel Edison directly using the ADC block 3.3v instead of stacking multiple blocks just to power the Intel Edison?

No. The 3.3V pin on the ADC block header is an output only, created by a 3.3V regulator. Applying a voltage there won't backfeed the rest of the Edison and may in fact cause damage to the ADC board.
