    Oof...spent months on and off trying to diagnose what the heck was wrong with my amplifier...seemed like it was getting some kind of interference, audio was playing but interrupted by large pops every few seconds so I was trying to shield it or add filtering; then I rebuilt half my circuit so it wasn't powered from the Raspi GPIO pins, tried four or five different power supplies, still no luck. Turns out I just needed to read the documentation a bit more carefully, once I realized that the mono pin was actually a ground and got that rewired it worked fine. Would be great if that was labeled "MONO GND" or something though so it doesn't look like a signal output...

    It also still does have some kind of periodic output, but now it's just bursts of soft static every couple seconds when nothing is playing...that might just be the Pi though, haven't tested further yet. Works pretty well though once I got it hooked up right!
